Real Madrid updated old Honved’s record
Real Madrid players scored a combined total of 22 goals at the 2026 World Cup (Kylian Mbappé 10, Jude Bellingham 7, Vinícius 4, Arda Güler 1).
Thus, Real Madrid broke the previous record for the number of goals scored by players from the same club in a single tournament.
That record had been set by Honvéd in 1954 (18 goals) and equaled by Bayern Munich in 2014 and PSG in 2026.
In the 2026 tournament, PSG was the second-highest scoring club (16 goals), followed by Arsenal in third place (13).
