Barcelona’s 55-game scoring run in La Liga

As the new Spanish league season approaches, we look back at an outstanding achievement by Barcelona from the previous campaign.
Hansi Flick’s team managed to score in 55 consecutive league matches. This streak ranks second in the competition’s history, surpassed only by another run achieved by the “Blaugrana”—spanning from February 2012 to October 2013—which saw them score in 64 straight games.
That earlier feat was shared by the three coaches who managed Barça during that period (Guardiola, Vilanova, Martino), whereas the newest one is linked to a single manager. Consequently, Flick holds the new record among coaches whose teams have sustained such a scoring run.
As for the new streak, it spanned the period between the matches against Leganés (0–1) on 15 December 2024, and Alavés (0–1) on 13 May 2026. In the interim, the “Blaugrana” scored in all 20 remaining La Liga matches of the 2024–25 season and in 35 matches of the 2025–26 season.
The streak began on 21 December 2024 (against Atlético Madrid, 1-2) and ended on 10 May 2026 (against Real Madrid, 2-0).

It is worth noting that, concurrently, Barcelona was building a scoring streak across all competitions. That run ended earlier (on 22 November 2025) and was slightly shorter (53 games); it also ranked second in history among Spanish clubs, trailing only Real Madrid’s streak of 73 consecutive games with a goal across all competitions between April 2016 and September 2017.
