Neuer’s joint-longest conceding run at World Cup
Manuel Neuer, having ended his 2006 World Cup campaign following Germany’s penalty shootout defeat to Paraguay, has conceded goals in 10 consecutive World Cup matches.
Thus, he equaled the record for the longest conceding streak of Mexico’s Antonio Carbajal, who endured a 10-match streak between 1950 and 1962.
Neuer has last kept a clean sheet with Germany in the 1-0 win over Argentina in the 2014 final.
