Messi ties Cafu as World Cup’s 3-final participant
By playing the final against Spain, Lionel Messi is set to become the only 2nd player in history to appear in three World Cup finals.
The first and unique until this edition was Cafu who played for Brazil in the 1994, 1998 and 2002 finals.
Unlike him, Messi’s finals haven’t come in consecutive editions.
