Kane, second-best seasonal scorer from top leagues
Harry Kane achieved an outstanding scoring record in 2025–26, becoming only the third player in football history from a club in Europe’s top five leagues to score 70+ goals combined for club and country in a single season.
Kane netted 73 times within the campaign, including 61 for Bayern and 12 for England.
Only Lionel Messi scored more in a single season—82 goals in 2011–12 (73 for Barcelona and 9 for Argentina).
Kane displaced Gerd Müller—who scored 72 goals for Bayern and Germany in 1972–73—to the third place on the all-time podium.
