Queiroz joins “club” of three-confederation coaches at World Cup
Carlos Queiroz became the 5th coach in history to manage teams from 3 different confederations in the World Cup (formerly UEFA with Portugal, AFC with Iran, now CAF with Ghana in the current edition).
Also, the Portuguese coach is managing a team in his fifth World Cup. He equals Bora Milutinovic as the joint-second coach with the most editions in the tournament’s history. Only Carlos Alberto Parreira had more editions (6).
