BRIAN BROBBEY 4th FASTEST

Brobbey scores one of World Cup earliest ever braces

Netherlands’ Brian Brobbey netted twice vs Sweden (5-1) after already 16 minutes 12 seconds from kick-off.
This is the 4th fastest brace from the start of the game in World Cup history.
The record belongs to Lukas Podolski who scored for Germany in 2006 also vs Sweden after 11 minutes 35 seconds.
Brobbey’s first goal, scored after 4 minutes and 58 seconds, became the fourth-earliest goal for “Oranje” in World Cup history, and the fastest since Robin van Persie against Brazil in 2014 (2 minutes 32 seconds).
