*Morocco earned 7 points in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, equaling the record for an African team in the competition (Morocco also achieved 7 points in 2022).
*Morocco became the African nation with the most World Cup wins in history (7), ahead of Ghana and Nigeria (6 each).
*Morocco became the African nation with the most World Cup goals in history (26), ahead of Nigeria (23) and Cameroon (22).
*This is the first time Morocco have scored 4 goals in a World Cup match.
Morocco are the second African team in history to do so, following Algeria against South Korea (4-2) on 22 June 2014.
*Morocco trailed a World Cup group stage match (0-1 and 1-2 as intermediate scores) for the first since 20 June 2018, against Portugal.
*Haiti are back to scoring in World Cup after a gap lasted 52 years and 2 days, since Emmanuel Sanon’s goal vs Argentina on 23 June 1974.

*Ismael Saibari became the first African player ever to score in each of his team’s three group matches at a World Cup edition (moreover, the first player from outside UEFA and CONMEBOL to do so).
*Saibari is the first African player to score 3 goals in a single World Cup since Asamoah Gyan for Ghana in 2010.
