*Lens won their second-ever away match in the Champions League, following their victory against Arsenal on November 25, 1998.
*Lens won their first away match in a European competition overall since September 29, 2005 (against Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski in the UEFA Cup), ending a run of 16 consecutive away games without a win (7 draws, 9 losses).
*Lens were trailing 2-1 in the 90th minute but won thanks to two goals in stoppage time. They are the first team in the history of the Champions League to go from losing to winning in an away match.
It had only happened twice before, and never away from home: the 1999 final at a neutral venue (Manchester United 2-1 Bayern) and the Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Málaga match in 2013, played at home.
*Mikuláš Konecny (Slavia) lasted just 3 minutes and 34 seconds on the pitch during his Champions League debut: he came on after halftime and was shown a red card at the 48:34 mark.
