Lewandowski in “Club 1000+ games”!
Robert Lewandowsi has joined recently the “Club” of players with 1000+ games at top level. The Pole reached the landmark on 25 April in La Liga game for Barcelona vs Getafe (2-0).
Since then he made 7 further appearances for club and country and now has 1007 games.
RL9 is the first Polish player and the 28th overall in the world football history to achieve this milestone. He won in the same year (2021) 4 IFFHS Awards – the Record in football History (picture)
