RECORD FOR HARRY KANE !

Kane, Bundesliga’s fastest ever to reach 100 goals

Harry Kane became on 18 September the player taking fewest games (just 98) to reach 100 Bundesliga goals. He hit the landmark in Bayern’s 7-0 win over Union Berlin.
Kane smashed the previous record which had stood almost 50 years and belonged to Müller. The Köln striker needed 129 games to complete his century in Bundesliga on 24 September 1977.
The Bundesliga all-time record holder for most goals Gerd Müller takes now only third position in the ranking behind the Englishman and his namesake: 136 games to reach 100 goals.
As seen from the table, the scorers in top places following Kane are all from quite remote times. Of those who stood out in the current century, Robert Lewandowski is the next: he reached 100 goals in the competition (in September 2015) in his 168th game. In the all-time Bundesliga ranking, RL9 is only 8th fastest to reach the milestone.
Kane is the league’s best ever also on average time needed for a goal: he has found the net every 78 minutes. His rate is better than the likes of Erling Haaland (87 minutes for a goal), Robert Lewandowski (100), Gerd Müller (105) and all others.
