By beating Levante (4-2) on 13 September, Barcelona extended their record-breaking, exceptionally long streak of matches without a draw in La Liga.
Their previous draw in the competition dated back to 31 August 2025 (1–1 against Rayo Vallecano).
The “Blaugrana” went 40 consecutive games without a draw, winning 34 and losing 6.
Hansi Flick’s team far surpassed the previous Spanish league record held by Osasuna (36 games without a draw: 12 wins and 24 losses). Notably, the Pamplona club’s streak spanned a full 18 years. Osasuna went through the entire 1935–36 season—their first in the top flight—without a single draw (22 games) before disappearing from the top division for a long period; upon returning in 1953–54, they added another 14 games to the streak.
