THE 2026 WORLD CUP – GIGANTIC
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the first edition in football history to feature 48 teams, compared to 32 in previous editions. It will also be the first to be co-hosted by three countries: the United States (11 stadiums), Canada (2 stadiums), and Mexico (3 stadiums).
104 matches played by the 48 national teams, with games in the middle of the night, all spread across the three countries: the spectacle will be magnificent.

With countries rarely seen (Haiti, DR Congo) and four newcomers (Uzbekistan, Cape Verde, Jordan, and Curaçao), this World Cup promises discoveries and thrills. The favorites and former champions will be present, except for Italy, which is going through an unbelievable crisis. June 11 will also mark the end of interminable years of waiting for Scotland, Norway, Austria, Iraq, and Turkey. The favorites for this global tournament will be France, Spain, Portugal, England, and Germany for Europe, as well as Argentina, the defending champions, and Brazil for South America. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are bidding farewell to the competition (this will be their sixth tournament since 2006!) and will pass the torch to Yamal, Kane, Haaland, Dembele, and others who are sure to make their mark. On July 19th, the winning country will celebrate; in the meantime, let’s hope for a great World Cup.
